SEVEN OAKS

Sitting proudly at the edge of the bay

The Seven Oaks development is situated on the western side of Whangamata Bay.

It’s an easy stroll down to Kinloch beach and the popular W2K (Whakaipo to Kinloch) and K2K mountain bike trails are right on your doorstep.

The Kinloch Village is also within walking distance and is host to a selection of cafes, parks and the beautiful Kinloch marina.

A picturesque village set in a quiet bay, Kinloch is the perfect hideaway, particularly for keen golfers and outdoor enthusiasts.

ADVENTURE AWAITS

World class mountain biking

Taupo offers some of the best mountain biking in New Zealand on a network of internationally recognised, purpose-built trails. Thanks to the pumice-rich, free-draining soils of the region, every day is a great day for a ride, even in winter.

With over 220km of singletrack riding, you will find an epic ride around every corner. Some tracks close by are the K2K (Kinloch to Kawakawa) and the W2K (Whakaipo to Kinloch).

The Taupo region was accredited by the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) as a silver level ride centre, which means that it is home to large-scale mountain biking facilities that offer something for all riders.

A LAKE-SIDE LIFESTYLE

Kinloch living

Kinloch is a popular holiday destination for locals and tourists to enjoy.

Only a short 20 minute drive, approximately, from the Taupo Town Centre, this charming community is the perfect picturesque spot for a lakeside picnic, a dip in the lake, a spot of trout fishing, or meander around the pretty Kinloch marina.

Be sure to grab a coffee and a bite to eat from the popular local cafe, which is in walking distance from the lake’s edge.

COMING SOON

Commercial Village

Kinloch Village will serve as the primary gathering place for Kinloch and the surrounding Taupō area, functioning as a vibrant focal point for both daily life and visitor engagement.

The village will feature a modern yet relaxed design, blending refinement with a casual, understated elegance. Thoughtfully considered architecture and layout support natural interaction and ease, reinforcing the village’s role as a place where people come together.

A curated mix of community-minded local businesses and operators will activate the village, encouraging connection, authenticity, and ongoing engagement. This approach ensures the development retains its distinctive village character while remaining welcoming to residents and visitors alike.

The wider Kinloch township is known for its friendly, close-knit atmosphere, underpinned by a strong sense of local pride. Gabled architectural forms complement this identity, enhancing visual warmth and cohesion. Together, these elements create an environment that feels approachable and enduring, fostering a genuine sense of belonging.

The Commercial Village is being built by the Henry Hall Trust,  on the old Boatyard site on Kenrigg Road.  Site clearing has started and the first buildings will be opening in December 2026
