SEVEN OAKS

Sitting proudly at the edge of the bay

The Seven Oaks development is situated on the western side of Whangamata Bay.

It’s an easy stroll down to Kinloch beach and the popular W2K (Whakaipo to Kinloch) and K2K mountain bike trails are right on your doorstep.

The Kinloch Village is also within walking distance and is host to a selection of cafes, parks and the beautiful Kinloch marina.

A picturesque village set in a quiet bay, Kinloch is the perfect hideaway, particularly for keen golfers and outdoor enthusiasts.

ADVENTURE AWAITS

World class mountain biking

Taupo offers some of the best mountain biking in New Zealand on a network of internationally recognised, purpose-built trails. Thanks to the pumice-rich, free-draining soils of the region, every day is a great day for a ride, even in winter.

With over 220km of singletrack riding, you will find an epic ride around every corner. Some tracks close by are the K2K (Kinloch to Kawakawa) and the W2K (Whakaipo to Kinloch).

The Taupo region was accredited by the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) as a silver level ride centre, which means that it is home to large-scale mountain biking facilities that offer something for all riders.

A LAKE-SIDE LIFESTYLE

Kinloch living

Kinloch is a popular holiday destination for locals and tourists to enjoy.

Only a short 20 minute drive, approximately, from the Taupo Town Centre, this charming community is the perfect picturesque spot for a lakeside picnic, a dip in the lake, a spot of trout fishing, or meander around the pretty Kinloch marina.

Be sure to grab a coffee and a bite to eat from the popular local cafe, which is in walking distance from the lake’s edge.

The Great Lake Taupo region

The Great Lake Taupo Region… where the air bristles with a fresh vitality and the snow-touched mountains defy the minuscule efforts of mankind to shape the land.

Wherever you go around Lake Taupo, nature reminds you that she is in charge here, extending her domain in every direction as far as the eye can see. The region is centered around the Great Lake itself, which plays host to watersport enthusiasts, tourists, holiday makers, fishermen, Ironmen, and more year-round.
